About us/Supporting local causes
Pubs have always been at the heart of the communities that they serve and have a long tradition of raising money for charities.
To reinforce our pubs' strong commitment to charitable causes, we established the Punch Community Spirit Project (PCSP) in August 2007 with eight Committee Members. The PSCP is committed to local charities that will promote and support young people within the region. |
 | To date, the PCSP has supported a total of 39 local charities and good causes ranging from the Happy Days children's charity to the Anne Lee School of Drama and Burton Rugby FC Mini Juniors. In the last year we raised £49,396 through a number of support centre initiatives and donated £20,349 to local organisations.
What is the PCSP?
 |
The PCSP aims to support charitable causes within the Burton Upon Trent area. To qualify, charities or causes must be located within a 15-mile catchment area of Punch Taverns' support centre in Burton.
Charities or requests will ideally be focused on supporting or sponsoring young people from the local area. | We will also give priority to requests from our 800 employees based at our offices in Burton Upon Trent. |
