Punch donates £1000 to St Giles' Hospice
Press Release

Burton based pub company, Punch Taverns, has donated £1000 from its Punch Community Spirit Project, to support the efforts of St Giles’ Hospice in the Burton area.

St Giles Hospice provides specialist medical and nursing care for people with cancer and other serious illnesses as well as providing support for their families and helpers.

Punch made the donation following the dedicated care and attention that the St Giles Hospice team provided to a Punch employee’s mum, who sadly passed away in 2008.

Linda Bridges, corporate fundraiser for St Giles, comments: “Many thanks to Punch for their very kind donation of £1000. It will be a great help.”

The Punch Community Spirit Project (PCSP) was set up to make donations to a variety of organisations such as charities, schools, sports clubs, welfare groups and hospitals.
