Christmas has come early for kids at the Queen’s Hospital in Burton after receiving gifts donated by Burton based pub company Punch Taverns.

Anthony York, head of reward at Punch, made a special appearance as Santa to dish out a range of gifts donated by Punch team members to the kids on the Children’s Ward.

Mike Tye, managing director, commented: “Christmas is all about children and our teams here at Punch wanted to help make it a magical time for them. We are always keen to support our local community and we have been fundraising for the CT Scanner Appeal throughout the year. We hope to have brought a touch of Christmas magic and cheer to those youngsters and hope they all have a fantastic Christmas.”
