CSR/Supporting local causes
To reinforce our pubs' strong commitment to charitable causes, we established the Punch Community Spirit Project (PCSP) in August 2007 with eight Committee Members. The PSCP was committed to local charities that will promote and support young people within the region.
Through the PCSP we have supported 170 local causes to the amount of over £200,000, since its launch in 2007, from local Scout and football clubs to funding a new minibus for Physically Handicapped and Able Bodied (PHAB). |

Earlier this year, we also raised £1,380 for the Hawthorns Resource Centre League of Friends which provides short breaks for children with severe learning disabilities, such as autism, and their families.
The Punch Community Promise
Following the demerger, we have set up a new initiative called the Punch Community Promise which will involve donating time and money to local causes, such as renovation projects.
To qualify charities or causes must be located within a 15 mile radius of our offices in Burton on Trent. We will also give priority to requests from our employees.
To qualify for support from the Punch Community Promise, your request must fulfil the following criteria:
• Local not national causes supported (although national causes with a local focus will be considered).
• Area covered is 10 miles radius of Burton, but will consider up to 15 miles.
• No third party fundraising.
• No funding towards running costs of projects.
• No individual sponsorship.
