Punch Taverns today announces that Fritz Ternofsky and Mike Foster who each joined the Board when the Company was floated in 2002, will be retiring from the Board with effect from March 31st 2010. There are no plans to replace them as the Board will remain compliant with Combined Code requirements following the appointment of Tony Rice and Ian Wilson as Non Executive Directors in anticipation of the planned retirement of Fritz Ternofsky and Mike Foster.
 
Following these departures, Tony Rice will replace Fritz Ternofsky as Senior Independent Non Executive Director and Chairman of the Remuneration Committee and Ian Wilson will replace Mike Foster as Chairman of the Nominations Committee.
