Further to the announcements made on 5 and 25 May 2010, the Board of Punch Taverns plc confirms that Ian Dyson was appointed Chief Executive of the Company with effect from 6 September 2010. No further information is required to be disclosed in respect of Ian Dyson pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R (1) to (6). 

The Company also confirms that in accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11 Giles Thorley has resigned from the Board with effect from 6 September 2010.
