Press Release

Punch Pub Company has underlined its commitment to growth by appointing a new estate development manager.

James Boshier, 31, joins the company, which has 4,300 leased and tenanted pubs nationwide, to boost acquisitions in the north east region.

Leeds based James has extensive experience of the licensed trade and spent five years working for Tetley’s.

He then worked in the advertising and marketing department at Leeds Rhinos rugby league club before spending the last five years working for a national firm of agents specialising in the sale of licensed property.

“I am delighted to have joined such a progressive company which is constantly moving forward,” said James.

“I’m excited about playing my part in growing the estate with quality, profitable outlets and continue to build on the strong reputation of the company.”

James joins a team of estate development managers led by acquisitions director Neil Griffiths.

Neil said: “We are all delighted that James is on board.  His experience and previous success in both a managed house operation and as an agent provides the perfect background for this position.

“He joins at an important time in our acquisitions programme when we are adopting a very aggressive approach in the marketplace to ensure we remain the preferred purchaser of sites.”
