Punch Taverns and its leading suppliers will be touring the country this autumn to promote some of their strongest ever retailer deals.
The pubco has devised a series of business building road shows for its leased and tenanted estate, which start at Bristol City Football Club on 11 October.
Each of the eight events will be held at a major sporting venue and laid out like a supermarket with different aisles showcasing discounted goods from brands including Coca Cola, Smirnoff, Gallo Wines and Carlsberg.
They replace Punch’s Trade Shows, which were first introduced to retailers two years ago.
Category manager Claire Archer said: “We have changed the format for the shows and made them around 40 per cent larger. There will still be outstanding deals on a range of pub essentials but also practical advice on growing and enhancing your business.
“Food demonstrations will run throughout the day showing retailers how to prepare simple, cost effective and profitable pub snacks and meals in minutes.”
Another new addition to the Road Shows is the Punch Privilege Club, which offers members further discounts on products bought through the pubco.
Claire said: “To benefit from the club all retailers have to do is attend their nearest Road Show and place an order. They will automatically join and qualify for additional discounts on deliveries between 20 November and 6 January 2007.
“We really are doing everything we can to go the extra mile and offer our retailers market leading deals and business building support.”
