Punch Taverns is launching its fourth year of UK wide licensee support road shows. Starting early October, a series of ten shows kick off, providing invaluable business advice and ideas - designed to help more Punch licensees than ever boost their businesses.
The results of last year’s events far exceeded previous years and broke new records with a 30% increase in previous attendance levels. Over 2,150 Punch licensees attended and 94% of them placed orders.
The 2008 roadshows start at Murrayfield, Edinburgh on 7th October and move on to Newcastle, Bolton, Chester, Birmingham, Bristol, Leicester, Leeds, London and Newmarket.
The shows will bring together a huge range of drinks and food exhibitors, top deals on best selling brands and lots of tips and advice to help licensees improve their profit margins. A special area has also been cordoned off where licensees can have one to one sessions with their business relationship managers (BRMs).
There will be a wide range of prizes on offer for licensees including the chance to win a week’s free beer order, plasma televisions and the opportunity to win a development chef for the day to come and develop their food offer.
This year’s shows will also be geared towards helping licensees get ready for Christmas with a range of offers on sparkling wines and champagnes as well as a seasonal beer.
Deborah Kemp, Punch’s managing director (leased) said: “We believe these shows are now the biggest and best of their kind in the industry. We had great feedback last year from our licensees and suppliers, demonstrating the value of bringing everyone together under one roof to share ideas and experiences. In this challenging trading environment we all have to raise our game to be the best in the market and these road shows have demonstrated in the past that they can make a real difference in helping to improve our licensees' businesses.“
