Val Tomlins from Sutton Coldfield has won a luxury holiday worth £1,500 courtesy of Chef & Brewer after a visit to the Holly Bush in Lichfield.

Val entered the competition when she signed up to be part of the Chef & Brewer Email Club to receive offers and discounts on food and drink. This was during one of many visits to the pub that Val made this summer with her husband Charlie; little did she know that she would be the lucky winner!

This prize gives Val and Charlie the chance to choose any destination they like and the opportunity to truly put their feet up as Chef & Brewer cover the bill!

Upon being told that her entry was the winning one, Val was in disbelief. Her husband was also just as shocked.

Valerie says: “Charlie was convinced it was some sort of joke; things like this don’t happen to us. The most I have ever won in my life is a jar of jam in a raffle at a garden show, and now this! We’re absolutely over the moon and can’t wait to book an exotic break for the two of us.”
