Burton based pub company, Punch Taverns, has donated £1000 from its Punch Community Spirit Project, to help local youngsters keep safe.
The Children’s Safety Education Foundation received £1000 enabling five Burton schools, including Anglesey Primary, to receive educational resources on a range of safety issues such as bullying, first aid, drugs, alcohol, roads and fire safety.
Children of Anglesey Primary received the donation from Wesley of the ‘Wacky Gang’, who took a day out from Spirit Group’s Wacky Warehouse, The Fradley Arms on Rykneld Street.
Sharon Williams, Charity fundraising Consultant, of CSEF comments: “We are very grateful for this donation and know that the children benefit hugely from receiving the resources.”
The Punch Community Spirit Project (PCSP) was set up to make donations to a variety of organisations such as charities, schools, sports clubs, welfare groups and hospitals.
