In a bid to add simplicity and convenience to the way partners run their businesses, Punch Partnerships is bringing them online with the launch of its eBusiness website.
The new site will allow Partners to place their normal weekly order online, 24 hours a day, seven days a week simply, easily and at a time that suits them and their business.
The Punch eBusiness project team have worked closely with a group of Partners from the outset to develop and design a site with the features and functionality they wanted to see.
In addition to special online only promotions, Partners will also be able to access a range of interactive features, including viewable online statements and invoices, a personalised events calendar to help them plan their business, the ability to place advance orders and the option of text or email alerts to help ensure they don’t miss an order.
Managing director Roger Whiteside comments: “eBusiness is about simplicity, convenience and speed for our Partners and the ultimate transparent way of working. We are determined to find new ways to give our Partners a competitive advantage and have the best processes in place to build their businesses.”
Roger continues: “A Partner could, for example, give their accountant access to their online invoices and statements or plan out their pub’s entire marketing campaign using the personalised calendar. The biggest plus is the ability for Partners to place orders when it suits them; on a Sunday night after closing if they’d rather that than waiting until office hours on Monday.”
Roger adds: “We will continue to evolve the website and will carry on consulting our Partners and developing it further based on their feedback. The aim is to create a site that will be the central hub, handling all of our Partner’s ordering and marketing needs. It has the potential to be as useful, interactive and convenient as our Partners want it to be.”
Partner, Ken Gardner of the Fox and Hounds, Shenstone has worked with Punch throughout the development of the site. He adds: “I think it’s great that Punch have gone out to their Partners to ask what would be useful for them. The online ordering will make things much more convenient. Pubs have to move with the times – its time for us to get online!”
The eBusiness team will attend all of Punch’s UK-wide Partner support roadshows which kicked off in Edinburgh on 6th October. Partners visiting the events will be able to find out more about how eBusiness could work for them and register their interest in joining up.
