Burton based pub company Punch Taverns has donated £500 from its Punch Community Spirit Project to The Scropton Riding and Driving Centre.
The Punch Community Spirit Project (PCSP) was set up to make donations to a variety of organisations such as charities, schools, sports clubs, welfare groups and hospitals.
The £500 will go towards the cost of a riding simulator which will help to improve the confidence of riders, particularly for those who have not ridden a horse before.
Christine Marbrow from the riding centre comments: “The contribution from Punch will give a great boost to a very important project and will also help us with the day to day running of the Centre.”
