Punch offers an all-encompassing programme of training and ongoing professional development for our publicans. Our flexible programme is the most comprehensive in the industry, and can be tailored to you and your team. From essential pre-qualifications such as your personal licence and food safety certification, to our exclusive three-step launch programme, Ready for Business, we make sure you have the skills you need from day one. After that, we offer a wide range of free or subsidised ongoing training, including business workshops and the industry’s first Apprenticeship scheme.

Taking on a Punch pub requires a financial investment on your part, which includes ingoing payments for stock, fixtures and fittings, and a deposit. We can talk you through the various agreement options that allow you to balance rental costs and product costs to suit your business plan, and the wide range of pubs available allows you to find premises that are affordable.
In certain cases, and for some pubs, we may be able to help out with elements of your ingoing costs, subject to application and approval.
