The Farmers Arms in Swinton has reopened its doors following a £172,000 investment.

This fantastic community pub has been given a new lease of life and will be operated by new Publicans, Tracey and Red. Tracey has a wealth of experience in hospitality and thrives on creating epic experiences for her customers.

The new look pub has been transformed creating more space for customers to enjoy great food, drink and entertainment. Work has included a complete refurbishment inside and out creating a new back bar, comfortable fixed seating and soft furnishing throughout. The investment has really lifted the pub giving it a really cool vibe.

Managing Director for Punch, Andy Spencer said, “This is a significant investment by Punch in an established community pub and we are extremely pleased with the new look created here. With our new Publicans Tracey and Red at the helm we are confident that the Farmers Arms will operate at the very heart of the community it serves.’’.

The pub will offer an extensive range of cask, craft and world beers as well as a new food menu which includes bucket sharers and burgers alongside traditional pub food.

To match a great food and drink offer this community pub will also host all the key sporting events of the year and reintroduce live music and open mic nights. Tracey said, “I am really excited to be here at the Farmers Arms with my husband Red and daughter Grace. We have been welcomed by the community with open arms and plan to pay that back tenfold. The support I’ve had from Punch has been fantastic and the investment has really done the pub proud, I can’t wait for everyone to see it!’’

Tracey has a real passion for the community and wants to make The Farmers Arms a central hub for everyone to enjoy. Plans include daily activities such as book clubs and family fun days, coffee and chat mornings for people with young children. Arts nights and community charity events to name but a few.

Punch owns and operates 1300 pubs across England, Scotland and Wales and is investing £32 million in its pub estate in the next year with the right Publicans running their pubs.
