The premises date back to the 17th century with dark woods, open fires and rustic fixture and fittings to compliment the ambience.

This pub has a lovely open plan bar area with a corridor towards it’s cosy dining area (up to 35 covers) for serving food or for functions or gatherings can be held and catered for. Situated in the village of Oakley, Buckinghamshire The Chandos is only a short distance from surrounding villages and hamlets and is equidistant between, Bicester and Thame Oxfordshire and provides attractions locally such as the local village church that dates back to around 1100 and is mentioned in the doomsday book.

Local towns Thame and Bicester provide good rail links to London and are home to commuters for to London and Oxford City and the pub is easy to reach from these locations for a meal or to relax with friends.

About the Agreement

Our Tenancy agreements vary between 3 – 5 years offer a flexible approach to running your own pub business. Your pub will be ready to trade, with carefully tailored food and drinks menus in place which you can evolve as you go along.

You will receive a high level of support and everything you need to run a successful business. From the beginning, you will have dedicated Punch Development Manager, plus access to training and development, business planning, operations and accounting expertise.

Once you’ve completed the 5-day induction course we’ll provide you with ongoing support to help you maximise the efficiency, sales and profitability of your pub. This includes helping you decide on the right drinks offer, guidance on margin and support creating a marketing plan to build for continued success. To help market your pub, we also offer lots of support and advice.

Punch Tenancy agreements have shared repairs liability, we will help you manage your ongoing repairing obligations. We do this by operating a repairs and maintenance fund for all new agreements.

* The calculation of the initial Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit (£3,000 or £6,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up (if any) will need to be paid over 52 weeks. This can be discussed with the recruitment team or Punch Development Manager
