The pub has an appealing traditional country style look and is Cask Marque accredited. It’s an open plan trading operation, with a small public/sports bar that opens into a more relaxed lounge area. This, in turn, leads into a large main dining space with 95 covers throughout. At the far end of the pub is a conservatory that’s used for dining, but which can also be used for meetings. Outside, a small car park provides parking for 10 vehicles and several tables to the front of the pub offer outdoor social space.

Punch are  planning a small investment at this site to enhance internal decorations and the toilet facilities

The Drum & Monkey is located on the B3133 road through the small village of Kenn, near Clevedon in the North Somerset Levels. The pub benefits from easy links to the M5 and the coast, as well as being close to Bristol.

About the Agreement

Our Tenancy agreements vary between 3 – 5 years offer a flexible approach to running your own pub business. Your pub will be ready to trade, with carefully tailored food and drinks menus in place which you can evolve as you go along.

You will receive a high level of support and everything you need to run a successful business. From the beginning, you will have dedicated Punch Development Manager, plus access to training and development, business planning, operations and accounting expertise.

Once you’ve completed the 5-day induction course we’ll provide you with ongoing support to help you maximise the efficiency, sales and profitability of your pub. This includes helping you decide on the right drinks offer, guidance on margin and support creating a marketing plan to build for continued success. To help market your pub, we also offer lots of support and advice.

Punch Tenancy agreements have shared repairs liability, we will help you manage your ongoing repairing obligations. We do this by operating a repairs and maintenance fund for all new agreements.

* The calculation of the initial Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit (£3,000 or £6,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up (if any) will need to be paid over 52 weeks. This can be discussed with the recruitment team or Punch Development Manager
