Looking to run a pub?
The Horse & Jockey is a terraced high street value pub that’s known for its entertainment and games offer. It sits on the busy A6 route between Stockport and Buxton and is surrounded by retail units and local housing, putting a strong potential customer base on its doorstep. Focusing on evening trade, the pub benefits from a strong local weekend circuit.
The Horse & Jockey is a single room open plan trading operation, with a central bar and designated space for darts and pool at the back of the pub, where teams often meet. Live TV sports is a key draw here and free WiFi is provided. There’s also a small catering kitchen that’s not currently used. Outside, there’s a beer garden to the rear of the pub and a smoking solution.
The domestic accommodation consists of three bedrooms, a kitchen and a lounge. Punch will ensure that this accommodation is in good order.
We’re planning investment here to cover both external and internal decorations, plus upgrades to the back bar and toilet facilities.
