The Norton Tavern is a beautiful looking public house situated in the lovely village of Norton nearby Stockton on Tees. There is a great regular community who frequent this pub, who really care about it and who are also very loyal customers. The pub holds regular events for charity, quiz nights and occasional entertainment and is also is known for its good food so there is potential to develop and evolve the traditional food menu including Sunday Lunch. This pub is traditional in nature and feel. It is warm and inviting with central bar servery which is perfect for speed and efficiency of service. The pub has a restaurant / dining area for 40 covers, however food can also be eaten in other areas of the pub. In addition to the main trading bar there is also a small private dining room for small functions and family get togethers. There is a beautifully maintained beer garden perfect for relaxing with friends in the warmer weather. The pub also offers WIFI. and a smoking area. The pub offers a small car park for up to 6 cars.
There is a small redecoration scheme proposed for the pub but this to freshen up on what is already an impressive public house.
The private accommodation will include two bedrooms, a kitchen and lounge.

Norton is a beautiful large village on the outskirts of Stockton on Tees. The pub is situated in a heavily populated area within walking distance making it a great location to attract locals. It is also close enough to the village centre to attract workers for lunch. The pub is situated near to the local cricket club and benefits from associated trade from this.

About the Agreement
Our Tenancy agreements vary between 3 – 5 years and offer a flexible approach to running your own pub business. Your pub will be ready to trade, with carefully tailored food and drinks menus in place which you can evolve as you go along.
You will receive a high level of support and everything you need to run a successful business. From the beginning, you will have dedicated Punch Development Manager, plus access to training and development, business planning, operations and accounting expertise.
Once you’ve completed the 5-day induction course we’ll provide you with ongoing support to help you maximise the efficiency, sales and profitability of your pub. This includes helping you decide on the right drinks offer, guidance on margin and support creating a marketing plan to build for continued success. To help market your pub, we also offer lots of support and advice.
Punch Tenancy agreements have shared repairs liability, we will help you manage your ongoing repairing obligations. We do this by operating a repairs and maintenance fund for all new agreements.
* The calculation of the initial Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit (£3,000 or £6,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up (if any) will need to be paid over 52 weeks. This can be discussed with the recruitment team or Punch Development Manager
