The Railway is an attractive and cosy drinks led Yorkshire pub on the Main Street in Cononley, a small village nearby Keighley.  The pub sits within a row of terraces, with residents immediately on its doorstep and offers a welcoming home from home for the locals to meet and enjoy a pint of cask ale or enjoy a game of pool.

There pub also offers an external seating area to front of pub and is also nearby the village train station making a great stop off after a hectic day and it is in a beautifully scenic area which is popular as a weekend or summer getaway with a number of holiday cottages/camping sites including Riverside Campsite and across the area.

The pub is nearby a railway with train links to Leeds and Bradford for local commuters and the pub is also within easy driving distance of Keighley and Bradford.

About the Agreement

Our Tenancy agreements vary between 3 – 5 years offer a flexible approach to running your own pub business. Your pub will be ready to trade, with carefully tailored food and drinks menus in place which you can evolve as you go along.

You will receive a high level of support and everything you need to run a successful business. From the beginning, you will have dedicated Punch Development Manager, plus access to training and development, business planning, operations and accounting expertise.

Once you’ve completed the 5-day induction course we’ll provide you with ongoing support to help you maximise the efficiency, sales and profitability of your pub. This includes helping you decide on the right drinks offer, guidance on margin and support creating a marketing plan to build for continued success. To help market your pub, we also offer lots of support and advice.

Punch Tenancy agreements have shared repairs liability, we will help you manage your ongoing repairing obligations. We do this by operating a repairs and maintenance fund for all new agreements.


* The calculation of the initial Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit (£3,000 or £6,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up (if any) will need to be paid over 52 weeks. This can be discussed with the recruitment team or Punch Development Manager
