The Red Hart is a true locals community pub which sits in the centre of the pretty village of Misterton in between South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire. There is a great opportunity to get involved with village life and develop the pub with themed local events, darts and pool and quiz evenings and get involved with the village activities within this community. The pub also offers facilities to offer great drinks and home cooked food, delicious Sunday lunches and special functions or gatherings.

About the local area

Misterton is a small village just 6 miles north of Gainsborough and south of Scunthorpe and not far from the River Trent. The pub sits across the road from the local church and there are village residents within easy walking distance, and there is also  opportunity to build reputation as a lovely small drive to pub for food and drinks across the wider area.

This is a great opportunity for an operator with local knowledge or experience in a similar style village pub who will encourage community involvement and host activities to attract locals at the site. You will also have experience in managing functions as this is a great way to generate additional trade for the business.

About the Agreement

Our Tenancy agreements vary between 3 – 5 years and offers a flexible approach to running your own pub business. Your pub will be ready to trade, with carefully tailored food and drinks menus in place which you can evolve as you go along.

You will receive a high level of support and everything you need to run a successful business. From the beginning, you will have dedicated Punch Development Manager, plus access to training and development, business planning, operations and accounting expertise.

Once you’ve completed the 5-day induction course we’ll provide you with ongoing support to help you maximise the efficiency, sales and profitability of your pub. This includes helping you decide on the right drinks offer, guidance on margin and support creating a marketing plan to build for continued success. To help market your pub, we also offer lots of support and advice.

Punch Tenancy agreements have shared repairs liability, we will help you manage your ongoing repairing obligations. We do this by operating a repairs and maintenance fund for all new agreements.

* The calculation of the initial Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit (£3,000 or £6,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up (if any) will need to be paid over 52 weeks. This can be discussed with the recruitment team or Punch Development Manager
