Cranford St John is a village that’s set back from the busy A14, about 2 miles south-east of Kettering in Northamptonshire. It’s also close to Corby, Wellingborough and Northampton. Kettering is having a lot of money spent on it by the local council, which is investing in the town centre and new housing developments due to the high-speed train track that’s being built in the area. This is due to complete in 2019, taking passengers straight into London.
The Red Lion is a great pub that’s just waiting for the right operator to take it on. It would suit an experienced publican, who’s keen to play a key role in this lovely community. You’ll either need food experience yourself or be prepared to hire a chef.
