The Rusty Dudley is located in a prominent position on the main street in the Centre of the town of Goldthorpe. Sitting between Rotherham and Doncaster and has an immediate population of 7,000, though this doubles when accommodating the adjoining area of Bolton on Dearne, and many residents visit Goldthorpe regularly. The area is full of mining heritage, and in more recent times is attracting industrial development and has a new supermarket and distribution Centre at the edge of town.

You’ll need to be adaptable here, happy to be part of the daytime community and to engage with older population as well as local workers, but also aware of the younger market and willing to continue the pub’s late-night DJ-led entertainment at the weekends.

About the Agreement

Our Tenancy agreements vary between 3 – 5 years offer a flexible approach to running your own pub business. Your pub will be ready to trade, with carefully tailored food and drinks menus in place which you can evolve as you go along.

You will receive a high level of support and everything you need to run a successful business. From the beginning, you will have dedicated Punch Development Manager, plus access to training and development, business planning, operations and accounting expertise.

Once you’ve completed the 5-day induction course we’ll provide you with ongoing support to help you maximise the efficiency, sales and profitability of your pub. This includes helping you decide on the right drinks offer, guidance on margin and support creating a marketing plan to build for continued success. To help market your pub, we also offer lots of support and advice.

Punch Tenancy agreements have shared repairs liability, we will help you manage your ongoing repairing obligations. We do this by operating a repairs and maintenance fund for all new agreements.

* The calculation of the initial Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit (£3,000 or £6,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up (if any) will need to be paid over 52 weeks. This can be discussed with the recruitment team or Punch Development Manager
