The Six Bells, Cambridge is a beautiful Cask Marque pub which dates back to the 15th century and offers a great location on the main high street, in the pretty village of Fulbourn. Alongside its great facilities, it offers a beer garden space with an orangery directly out of the open door from its large function room. The pub has an established reputation for great real ales, delicious pub food and great value and we are planning to enhance this pub with a fresh interior and more!
This pubs trading space is multifunctional Pub with four key areas. It offers a lounge bar area, a cosy snug, the restaurant alongside a spacious function room with its own bars – with great feature double doors leading directly onto the beer garden plus a large catering kitchen. The pub also offers parking for up to ten cars, a smoking space and WiFi.
We have a full refurbishment planned including an update to the garden area Full internal decorations to all areas of the site, upgraded toilets. Function room to be given a complete new look so that can be multi-functional and used as a function room. additional restaurant area or used to be a spill over bar area for busy times plus new pub signage.
The pubs private accommodation includes three bedrooms, a kitchen and lounge.
About the local area
The pub is situated in the affluent village of Fulbourn which is just outside the beautiful, historical city of Cambridge. It offers great links to the M11 and A14 in both directions makes it a very desirable location. Cambridge is well known for its many tourist attractions including the famous Punting activities.
The pub itself is surrounded by small local businesses and there are also village residents in walking distance. It’s a lovely pub to escape to and get away from it all.

This requires an experienced operator (perhaps ex managed house) who is skilled at managing a team of people, promote the function room, grow the food sales as well as maintaining the pub as a great village local. You will also enjoy developing the right events for the pubs audience and a passion for real ale and craft would be an advantage.

You only pay for:
- Internal Maintenance
* The calculation of the initial ingoing costs assumes a minimum deposit (£3,000 or £5,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up can be paid over the term of the contract and up to £100 per week. This can be discussed with the Punch Development Manager
