Inside, the Stag offers separate trading areas, which are ideally suited for drinking and casual or more formal dining. There are 4 en-suite letting rooms, 3 double and 1 twin. The latter is available in a large conservatory, which can also be used for parties. The large, well-appointed kitchen can cater for up to 75 covers, accommodating functions and parties in addition to regular food trade. The Stag is a consistent performer throughout the year.

About the local area
The Stag is situated in a prominent position on the main A3020 road between Cowes and Newport on the northern side of the Isle of Wight. The area is always busy with travellers between these two towns, so there’s plenty of opportunity to attract passing trade. Holidaymakers also use this route to travel from the north to south of the island and back up again. The immediate area around the pub is primarily residential housing, with a high proportion of young families and the elderly. It’s also a significant area of the island in terms of large employers, with the local hospital and prisons less than a mile away, and several other large employers close by.

About the Agreement
Our Tenancy agreements vary between 3 – 5 years offer a flexible approach to running your own pub business. Your pub will be ready to trade, with carefully tailored food and drinks menus in place which you can evolve as you go along.
You will receive a high level of support and everything you need to run a successful business. From the beginning, you will have dedicated Punch Development Manager, plus access to training and development, business planning, operations and accounting expertise.
Once you’ve completed the 5-day induction course we’ll provide you with ongoing support to help you maximise the efficiency, sales and profitability of your pub. This includes helping you decide on the right drinks offer, guidance on margin and support creating a marketing plan to build for continued success. To help market your pub, we also offer lots of support and advice.
Punch Tenancy agreements have shared repairs liability, we will help you manage your ongoing repairing obligations. We do this by operating a repairs and maintenance fund for all new agreements.
* The calculation of the initial Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit (£3,000 or £6,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up (if any) will need to be paid over 52 weeks. This can be discussed with the recruitment team or Punch Development Manager
