The Station Tavern is a fabulous pub built in traditional stone and in the North Yorkshire Park. It is situated in the lovely rural village of Grosmont nearby the railway and benefits from huge tourism trade from the North Yorkshire steam railway network. Visitors flood to the area to ride the steam trains and enjoy the many events such as the Santa train.
It’s a welcoming warm and cosy pub, decorated in a traditional style and holds a great reputation for heart-warming traditional food made from locally produced sources.
This pub offers two separate trading areas (with bar/lounge and restaurant space up to 55 covers) and one main bar servery, has a warm and cosy feel with open fires and traditional fittings. There are also three letting rooms all en suite. It has a kitchen and beer garden for the warmer weather, WIFI and a smoking solution. There is also a good size car park for up to 10 cars.

The Pickering to Whitby rail network passes through Grosmont. This is a huge tourist attraction due to the popularity of the steam trains and makes it a lovely area to travel to for a bite to eat and drink and a great local for the nearby residents.

About the Agreement
Our Tenancy agreements vary between 3 – 5 years offer a flexible approach to running your own pub business. Your pub will be ready to trade, with carefully tailored food and drinks menus in place which you can evolve as you go along.
You will receive a high level of support and everything you need to run a successful business. From the beginning, you will have dedicated Punch Development Manager, plus access to training and development, business planning, operations and accounting expertise.
Once you’ve completed the 5-day induction course we’ll provide you with ongoing support to help you maximise the efficiency, sales and profitability of your pub. This includes helping you decide on the right drinks offer, guidance on margin and support creating a marketing plan to build for continued success. To help market your pub, we also offer lots of support and advice.
Punch Tenancy agreements have shared repairs liability, we will help you manage your ongoing repairing obligations. We do this by operating a repairs and maintenance fund for all new agreements.
* The calculation of the initial Ingoing Costs assumes a minimum deposit (£3,000 or £6,000) plus legal fees. The subsequent deposit build up (if any) will need to be paid over 52 weeks. This can be discussed with the recruitment team or Punch Development Manager
