Looking to run a pub?
This is a premium food-led business, which offers the incoming operator plenty of opportunity. It’s a great location for a fantastic destination food business that features local produce on a menu that can satisfy traditional pub diners but also offer something a little special to suit the more premium nature of the market it sits in.
The Talbot Inn offers distinct open plan trading spaces across two floors, all immaculately decorated and ready to go. On the ground floor, there’s a lounge bar space with a socialising and drinking area opposite the bar. This opens into a snug dining area and then the main restaurant space. Upstairs, there’s a further large restaurant or function room with its own bar. There’s also a small private dining/meeting room on the first floor. The kitchen can provide for up to 80 covers throughout. Outside, the pub has a beer garden and 10 parking spaces, with on-street parking also available.
The domestic accommodation consists of two bedrooms, a kitchen and a lounge. Punch will ensure that this accommodation is in good order.
About the local area
The pub is situated in the village of Bishopton, just to the west of Stockton-on-Tees. It’s a very affluent village, but there’s plenty of strong competition from pubs in the villages all around this area.
